Leadership

Troop 76 is blessed with a great leadership team. Leading the uniformed leaders is Scoutmaster John Farrell, an Eagle Scout and leader for many years. Seven Assistant Scoutmasters, two of whom are Eagle Scouts, assist him. All of them have been trained by the Boy Scouts of America (in fact, many of our leaders were scouts themselves) and many serve as trainers for other leaders. The troop committee is composed of parents and alumni who want to be involved in the leadership of the troop. Committee Chair this year is Andrea Cataffo.

In BSA training, Youth Protection and safety are stressed. Troop 76 holds these above all else. Many of our leaders are Certified First Responders and Emergency Medical Technicians.
